Relational Healing for All
At the Bloomington Center for Connection, we offer a variety of mental health services grounded in Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT). We believe that people grow through and toward connection and that disconnection is often at the root of emotional struggles. We also believe

Mental Health Service Through a Relational-Cultural Lens
Our services aim not to change individuals to fit into dysfunctional cultural norms, but to empower them to heal in connection and to foster relationships that support mutual growth. These include:
- Relational Therapy: Growth-oriented service focused on deepening connection and self-understanding rather than diagnosing or treating mental illness. Not considered medically necessary or billable to insurance
- Relational Groups: Opportunities to build and experience growth-fostering relationships in a safe, supportive group setting
- Relational Gaming: Opportunities to build relationships and foster personal growth through Tabletop Role-Playing Games, which encourage collaboration, creativity, and mutual understanding
- Sand Tray Therapy: A creative and expressive approach, particularly effective for children and those exploring deep emotional or relational themes
- Trauma-Responsive Care: All our clinicians are skilled in working with trauma, using evidence-based approaches integrated with RCT principles
- Relational Intensives: RCT is uniquely suited to help improve your relationships, whether they are family, adult family, primary relationships, or communities, we can help facilitate healing and connection across difference.
