A graduate of IU Bloomington’s Counselor Education master’s program and a skilled practitioner, Daniel has over six years of experience working with folks experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and addictions, and has worked with those navigating their expression of gender, sexuality, and spiritual identities. He believes in the transformative power of empathetic relationships and genuine connection in overcoming life’s obstacles. Daniel uses Relational-Cultural Theory to support those looking to build resilience, reject escapism, and deepen their relationships.

With a diverse background including work with adolescents, families and grief counseling, Daniel uses a trauma responsive approach rooted in philosophy, integrating concepts and techniques from solution-focused therapy, emotion focused therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology.
