Bloomington Center for Connection can adapt any of our workshops to meet your needs. Pull together a group of friends who want to explore parenting tools to help them connect more deeply with their families and we will come to you. It’s like book club, only you don’t have to read the parenting books in advance. Most of our groups involve some sort of experiential component, whether it’s exercising our creative muscles through clay or paints, or getting playful and trying a new game.
Some groups hold it with a potluck, others in a more formal setting. We can adjust the content and activities to your needs, but we generally include some sort of creative activity and experiential learning.
Some groups we’ve done:
- Playful Parenting
- Weave of Motherhood
- Claytime: Connecting through Clay
- Helping kids with big emotions
- Using Play to ease anxiety
- Entering teen territory
- When parents disagree
- Forgiveness: letting go and moving on
- Communication for connection
