Chloe Maginity

Chloe is a fellowship therapist at the Bloomington Center for Connection and a Master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling program at Indiana University Bloomington. She provides therapy for adults and older teens, bringing warmth, authenticity, and a strong sense of collaboration to her work.

In addition to her graduate studies, Chloe teaches undergraduate courses and conducts research focused on the lived experience of autistic women. As a queer, neurodivergent woman, she brings a deep personal and professional commitment to social justice, healing-centered relationships, and accessible, affirming care.

Chloe’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Relational-Cultural Theory. She has additional grounding in decolonial and anti-capitalist frameworks, liberation psychology, and mindfulness. Her style is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and client-centered. Chloe works to foster a space where therapist and client can show up authentically and grow together.

Outside the therapy room, Chloe finds joy in the pottery studio, hiking, hosting themed get-togethers with friends, and spending time with her two beloved cats. She values art and play as essential parts of her own care and weaves them into counseling whenever possible.

Chloe is passionate about helping clients build meaningful connections—with themselves, others, and with the world around them.
