Support Accessible Care

At the Bloomington Center for Connection, we believe healing isn’t a solo journey. Now, you can wear that message wherever you go. Our new merch supports accessible care and looks fantastic.

Grounded in our values

We’ve been committed to offering accessible care to underserved, underinsured, or overlooked people. Recently, our ability to do that is challenged by ongoing insurance struggles, economic downturns, and medicaid cuts.

Our work is best when we focus on what matters: serving people, not systems. We love this work. We love helping folks grow, play, and heal in community. But running a affordable, accessible practice, without being buried under constantly increasing insurance red tape (or worry about who can pay) takes creativity. So, we made merch. Every purchase helps us do the work we love. It allows us to provide sliding-scale, affirming care, without compromising connection, or asking our clinicians to work below a living wage. You get something cool, and we get to keep therapy human.

Our new line of BCC merch celebrates connection, play, and the beautiful mess of being human. From cozy tees to mugs made for your morning coffee ritual, each design carries a piece of what we stand for: compassion, curiosity, and courage in relationship. Our slogans were created in the midst of laughter and play, because that is how we survive and we want to share that with you.

This collection isn’t just about what you wear, snuggle up with, or stick on your car; it’s about what you support.
Every purchase funds our sliding-scale and fellowship programs, making therapy and community care accessible to more people. When you choose a shirt or mug that makes you smile, you’re helping someone else find the care they need.

All of the proceeds from this collection support our sliding scale program. This allows us to continue seeing someone when they lose their insurance, a time they might need even more support. We pay the artists a fair percentage of proceeds before our profit. Our artists are part of the BCC community, and are excited to support gender affirming, relational, anti-oppressive care.
