While the BCC offers mental health services using Relational-Cultural Therapy that are covered by insurance, they are limited to “medically necessary” services, requiring justification and audit risk for longer term relationships with clients. (For example, many families will ask their children to see a therapist during big family transitions, such as a divorce, but if the child isn’t outwardly showing symptoms, it’s possible it won’t be covered by insurance). Many people also have limited mental health benefits or a High Deductible plan that makes therapy financially out of reach.

Our Relational Therapy membership improves your access to care, no matter what insurance you have, and what causes you to seek services. For acute, medically necessary services, we recommend using your insurance and seeking a clinical intake and ongoing psychotherapy. For times that are extra stressful, relationship issues, maintenance of mental wellness, or more broadly focused therapy, it may save money to use our “check-ins” with a BCC therapist, join a relational group, or play in one of our therapeutic Relational Role Playing Games. All of these options are available as add-ons to this membership.

By itself, this membership offers access to early signup for workshops, monthly online Q and A sessions covering everything from parenting a gender diverse child to finding ways to add playfulness to your marriage, our library of audio relational visualizations, and a monthly live relational visualization on Zoom. You’ll also have access to our resource library for clients, including relational challenges, game recommendations, and more.

One relational therapy appointment with the discount pays for this membership; the discounts available on the packages get you your money’s worth several times over. This is how we are striving to keep therapy available even when our current healthcare and insurance landscape makes it tempting to skimp on your mental health.
