Stuck in a parenting rut? Finding yourself feeling angry at the same things, day after day? Wondering exactly how many times you have to ask your child to brush his teeth? Wanting to make some changes, but not quite sure where to start?
Spend a month revamping your approach. Based on new research on the benefits of play as well as Lawrence Cohen’s work, participants will learn how to use play to strengthen your bond with your kids, face parenting challenges and overcome common problems.
Each week, participants will identify a target area for the following week. The group will offer support and concrete ideas for implementing change in this area, including ideas for using play to support your child in overcoming anxiety, managing big emotions and working through aggressive behavior. Think of what you can achieve by taking small steps each week!
